Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux will bring you into the ancient world of New Orleans Voodoo. Guests will meet the Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux at Lamèzon Laveaux, her sacred Voodoo Shrine. When you arrive you will dive into the history of Voodoo. You will learn that this African practice has been around for thousands of years, and how Voodoo came to New Orleans through the transatlantic slave trade. Guests will be exposed to the culture and practices of Voodoo. You will also develop a true understanding of the uses of Voodoo Dolls. If you’d like to hold and see a real Voodoo doll you can. This is followed by a True Blessing Ceremony. The Blessing Ceremony will be for cleansing, protection, success, and prosperity in your life. Sacred songs, drumming, and dancing will be performed in the ceremony. You will leave refreshed and immersed in the world of Voodoo. Each guest will receive a personalized reading and a custom handmade gris gris, made and blessed by the Voodoo Queen. Each guest can choose to be cleansed, annointed, and blessed with herbs, oils, and potions.
